Our Immersion programs use the Chinese language for instruction and as a means of communication.

Children develop their Chinese language skills through diverse and hands-on cross-curriculum activities, which create a connection between all subjects through a common theme, giving children an opportunity to learn multiple subjects without even realizing it.

We employ a Theme-based and Project-based curriculum that will broaden the horizon of the participating students whilst, at the same time, enhancing their communicative and problem-solving skills.

At LittleChina, we provide children opportunities to gain an in-depth knowledge of Chinese language and its culture by exposing them to diverse Chinese Culture elements , such as Chinese story understanding and performing, Chinese character learning games, Chinese Art and Music,Chinese  Food, Festivals,History and get to know the different ethnical groups and geography characteristics of China.

As a good influence by Dr. Maria Montessori, sensorial play and practical life activities are also our highlights. We offer children all kinds of sensorial materials and provide them opportunities to get involved in real life exercises to help them build a solid foundation for further development.

Two Chinese Immersion Groups

Little Caterpillar: 3months-12months

(Minimum 2 children)

Full Day : Time: 9:00 am-17:00pm

 (Optional hour care plus CHF 10 per hour)

Full-Day Group Fee: CHF120/Day

Half-Day Group Fee: day: CHF 20/hour

-Homemade lunch and snacks are included. (Please prepare your own food if you prefer. )

Little Butterfly Group

(Minimum 2 children, One-to-One Chinese Immersion Program fee please contact nanli.zhao@glcedutrip.com )

Age: 1-2/2-4

Full Day : Time: 9:30 am-17:00pm

 (Optional hour care plus CHF 10 per hour)

Full-Day Group Fee: CHF120/Day

Half-Day Group Fee: day: CHF 20/hour

-Homemade lunch and snacks are included.(Please prepare your own food if you prefer. )

Little Rocket (Half Day): Age 4-7

-Time: Every Thursday  (12:30-17:30pm)

-Tuition: CHF 328 for 4 weeks

Optional hour care plus CHF 10 per hour

-Homemade lunch and snacks are included.

Note: Tuition needs to be paid three months in advance. No refund is made in the case, your child is sick or otherwise absent. 

​

We offer a 10% discount for each extra child from the same family.

​

-LittleChina is closed during the public holidays in Basel-land. During Summer Holiday we also offer Chinese Summer Camp.
